Swift boats purchased new are warrantied against defects in materials and workmanship to the original owner for the usable life of the hull and trim as indicated by care and wear. Swift will repair or replace the boat or it’s components at their option after inspection by factory technicians. The customer is responsible for transportation to and from our factory in South River, ON. Shipping costs are at the discretion of the manufacturer and based on location and availability.
This warranty does not include damage due to normal wear, or damage resulting from abuse, misuse, alteration or improper repair by a third party. Factory seconds are covered by a limited warranty.
Warranty repair eligibility will be determined by our factory technicians after they have assessed the boat – it can not be determined by your dealer.
A copy of the original receipt is required for all warranty claims.
30 Day Perfect Fit Guarantee
When you purchase a Swift Canoe, Kayak or Pack Boat from one of our Ontario Swift stores, we guarantee a “Perfect Fit” based upon our knowledgeable staff’s ability to identify the right boat to suit your needs.
This means that you have 30 days after picking up your boat to ensure you have been matched with the ideal Swift model for you. If you are not satisfied that your new boat suits your needs and paddling style, we will be happy to exchange it for a model that will work better for you.
*Boats being exchanged under this guarantee are subject to a $100 admin fee and other costs to be determined based on use and wear. It is expected that boats being exchanged under this guarantee will be in like new, sellable condition. The boat you choose may also be subject to some upgrade costs should you choose a boat with different options. Colour, laminate and option changes are not covered under this program.
Specialty/customized builds are not eligible for the 30 Day fit offer. Please discuss with your sales rep when placing any specialty orders.
The “Perfect Fit Guarantee” can only be used once on any purchase.
